On December 17th, 2022; and with the help from my twin, Gigi 3k, I shared my first art collection. I called the show “Multiplicity”. The collection was presented at a home in the artful city of Bremerton by Zach Dougherty and was curated by my good friend and fellow artist Jonathan Himmelstein.

The work featured in the show include a variety of commercial influences from cartoon shows like Futurama, Tom and Jerry and my favorite anime Inuyasha and Studio Ghibli’s Kiki’s Delivery Service.

In “Multiplicity", I was allowed to share the the art that I am inspired to create along with the music I make.

The highlight of the night seemed to be the way the lights made the paintings in Pink and Blue dance. Each painting featured a pink backdrop, while the main subject was painted in a soft blue, known as “Royal 23”. Each of the colors were hand mixed by Gigi 3k.

The painting in this room speak of vulnerability, the soft and mushy parts of being a man, a father, or a girl waiting for the next shuttle on the moon.

Two 36 x 36 pieces anchored center rooms together. Both featured a subject I call “Astro-Tom”. His stretched arms and closed eyes suggest a willingness to break through barriers like poverty and everything else in his way.

The music playing during the show was instrumental album called “Stogies”; short for “Stogies Ain’t Got No Names”. It’s a bunch of beats I made while I was quitting cigarettes (just don’t do it, kids).

The show was a lot of fun and I look forward to another showing of the collection real soon.
