OPENING RECEPTION: SAWL GOOD…TO THE RESCUE

Meet us at eTc Tacoma on 9th Street on March 8th at 6 pm! (Click this link to RSVP now!)

We back at it! Join me as I unveil my new exhibit: “To The Rescue” by tryfe.

This new collection of art, curated by Umi Wagoner of eTc Tacoma, is inspired by Krusal, who grew up with Chip and Dale as their favorite cartoon.

about the exhibit:

Within his community of Lakewood, Washington, Krusal has been actively involved in mentoring the youth and inspiring positive change through his clothing brand, Berr. The brand’s mission statement is “Leave Your Print,” and Krusal’s music serves as a powerful tool to help him achieve this goal. In 2024, his debut release, Lando’s World, achieved remarkable success as the top-performing album at Sawl Good. As he eagerly prepares for the release of his follow-up project, titled Project 85: History, Krusal is fully committed to putting in the hard work and dedication to make this release a resounding success.

In addition to celebrating our brother Krusal, we will be celebrating the release of three more Sawl Good projects; a new ep by Car.lo, the fourth mixtape from Closet 83 , and a new album by tryfe!

The night will be full of surprises, and your RSVP will help us to be prepared to host you. See you there!

about the aritst:

tryfe is a designer + producer from the Two-Five-Three. Being a newcomer to the Tacoma art scene, his works and exhibitions offer a new perspective on engagement. His use of cartoon characters aim to communicate emotions such as happiness, sadness, and resilience.

This marks tryfe’s fourth exhibit. (RSVP now to reserve your spot)
